Where do you pay an immigration bond?

My boss is trying to find out where to pay an immigration bond at. I don't know all the specifics of the story but one his workers was picked up and now has a bond. He wants to pay the bond but really isn't getting any answers from anyone on where to go to pay it or who to call. He is only getting information from the guys wife but she is in Peru and doesn't really know where to go either. I know the guy he is trying to bail out so I know this is not a scam. Can anyone help me out?

What state are they in? For example, I live here in Northwest Arkansas and I had to go all the way to Kansas City, MO to pay my husbands bond. Also, if he calls the jail or detention center they have this person then they can tell him where to go pay the bond.

You can go to a local USCIS office or possible at the Immigration court that has the jurisdiction over the case.

He is in Louisiana. He was here in florida but they transfered him there. His wife is under the impression that he can just go to the nearest field office and pay it. What payment methods do they take?

We paid my hubby's bond at the immigration court where he had his master hearing while detained. He was in Oakdale, LA.
    Edit:
    We took a cashier's check.

I don't think my boss is willing to travel very far and is hoping he can just pay it by phone with his credit card. Hum, we'll see. I'll try and dig some more
    Edit:
One other thing. This guy was just arressted last week on the 5th, transferred and has already been given a bond. Is that common for such a quick turn around?

I don't think you could do it buy phone unless you get an immigration bondsman. When the bond is posted there are several documents that need to be signed and ID needs to be presented.
    Edit:
you never know with immigration. They move some ppl quick and others they forget about them!

My husband never got transferred, however, the same day he got arrested he got interviewed by an immigration officer and was given how much bond we had to pay to get him out.
Your boss has to go to the office and take the cashier's check or money order and fill out the information. Then he will be given back the paperwork so that if his employee has to leave he can receive his money back.

We had to go to the local Field Office to pay the bond when my boyfriend was detained.
The closest one was in Chicago. I paid by cashiers check.and he was released within 4 hours.
We were lucky that my boyfriend had been recently transferred to a jail closer to the ICE office. If he is any distance away from the office you are paying at, he most likely would be released the next day.
